Yoga
Yoga means to 'Unite', unite the body and mind to be precise. This union is achieved by settling the mind into stillness.
As we bring ourselves on to the mat or whatever that safe space of yoga is for each one of us, we begin the journey, a brand new experience every time, to befriend with this special being, our own Self.
As we move through postures (Ásana) we invite the body to a balance of stability and comfort. Through breath Control (Pránáyáma), we build the bridge between the body and the mind. Mindfulness, relaxation and meditation lead us to a calmer, quieter mind, helping us experience ourselves and our relationship with the world with greater clarity.
So Yoga gives us a framework to develop a deeper understanding of ourselves as well as the world around us, rewarding us with a much meaningful and harmonious life
